Lycée Francais International Georges Pompidou, École Primaire de Sharjah, French Primary School Sharjah offers students, in connection with families, an open and diversified environment in which they can fully develop their personal and academic potential, that, in order to become an independent, responsible citizen and open to the world in accordance with the humanistic values.

Lycée Francais International Georges Pompidou, École Primaire de Sharjah, French Primary School Sharjah students enjoy a variety of activities, actions and a whole range of sporting activities.

Lycée Francais International Georges Pompidou, École Primaire de Sharjah, French Primary School Sharjah initiate students to citizenship and help them shape a responsible mind through the Committee for Health, the Council of High School Student Life or the Sustainable Development Club (international solidarity, study tours in developing countries, environmental actions, etc.), among others.

Academics

From the Kindergarden, students can take courses in multilingual parity schedule French – English. The monitoring program is the French curriculum, half of the lessons in English. The system is currently ongoing from kindergarden to G1, and will expand year after year.

Students who are not enrolled in bilingual classes, starting from kindergarten, also attend English classes.

From G1 until G12 (Terminale), are available (mandatory for all from G1 to G9) Arabic courses based on students skills.

From G8, students can enroll in "European English Section" to obtain later, a mention "European Section English" on their International Baccalaureate diploma.

From G10, an International Section (British curriculum) leading to the Option of International Baccalaureate, OIB, will be implemented in September 2014.

In G8, to the teaching of Arabic will be added one of the 2 other languages (German or Spanish). Languages will keep a weekly schedule of 3 hours throughout the Secondary.

As for options (elective), we offer Latin from G7, Arabic from G10 as well as different teachings and exploration courses.
